We started in 1965, in a small plant located in Cornellá de Llobregat, Barcelona producing EPS molded parts.

Automatic EPS molding Plant – Sant Feliu de Llobregat, Barcelona Packaging and decorative items.

Gassing technology for the production of expandable raw materials – Parets del Vallés,Barcelona. Loose-fill sold under Span-Pack® trademark Recycling of expanded polystyrene

Production of drenotube® subsurface drainage and infiltration pipe systems.

New plant of 11,000 m2 for the production of the drenotube® drainage and infiltration system in Girona, Spain
Our commitment
EPS has an image problem, specially in the packaging sector. It is a highly visual material because it is both bulky and predominantly white, which makes it appear that large amounts of used EPS are thrown away. But we confuse being ecologic and sustainable with the usage of natural materials, without taking into account the production process. Let us show you why:
Recycling
It is a thermoplastic that can be heated, melted and recycled. Fumoso Industrial recycles thousands of EPS tons per year, which helps to increase reduction of virgin raw material use.
Low- density products
Our loose-fill products have a density between 3.5 to 4 kg/m3. EPS is a good example of the efficient use of natural resources – it is 98% air,
which only between a 1-2% of the material is plastic.
Reduce landfill waste
Our loose-fill is made of 100% recycled polystyrene waste.
CO2 emission reduction
We use clean energy resources in our EPS loose-fill manufacturing process.
Saves petroleum use
In our process we do not use virgin material feedstock saving raw materials.
